About Project
Angel Tears is a golden ale brewery based in New Hampshire. This brand is inspired by ideas of angels and accepting our place in the universe. Connected to ideas of mortality in a humorous/comforting way.

Angel Tears Brewing Co was founded in 1998 by Nick Davenport. Davenport is a lover of historical art and a smooth brew. Angel tears is the reflection of both of his dearest passions.

The elements and brand are very inspired by gothic architecture and angels. I used photos of the structures of gothic churches as I was creating the geometric shapes and diamonds that are a part of this brand.

Since my brand is rooted in a gothic style I chose to use blackletter type for the logo. The shape by the A refers to an angels wing. I included a tear like shape on the top of the N and at the bottom of the S to in reference to the name of the company.

This is my most custom logo I have ever made. The version on the left is the original letters. I mixed 3 typefaces because I couldn't find the perfect one. I made the A out of shapes using another letter for reference.

The main art for my can was inspired by biblically accurate angels. They are said to have many eyes and wings. I used my own interpretation and made the wings coming out of the face and throat.

Billboards main purpose is to connect to the audience and let them know what you will feel if you drink Angel Tears.

Target Audience is men 35-40. He considers himself a realist and some consider him to have a dark depressing outlook on existence. But he would say hes “just being realistic.”

Van wrap design. This van would go to local markets and music festivals.

This flier gives information about the brewing process, flavors, and history in Angel Tears Ale. It would be inside of a local bar. This is to promote that they are on tap and to get people to try it

The coasters can be found in angel tears online shop. They are also a part of a limited addition collaboration with the bar serving angel tears. For the first 30 cups sold you get a free coaster with your drink.
